The 2022 world cup was a great opportunity for young players of the South Korean national team to show off their skills and their ability to score goals. Now the South Korean players have not only succeeded in going to the big leagues, but also, they are performing excellently in their new league. Here are some of the South Korean players that are leaving big impressions on football fans.

Cho Gue-sung, a South Korean striker, performed greatly in the last World Cup. After the World Cup he joined a team called Midtjylland in the Superliga. In his first two games in the new league, Cho Gue-Sung scored two goals and was selected as the Man of the Match in both games. For many, this shows how much he has already adapted to the environment of the big leagues. It also proves that Cho Gue-Sung is an appropriate player to play in the big leagues.

South Korean players have not been only showing their skills in international matches. When Kim Min-Jae was traded to Napoli nobody had big hopes for him. However, he proved them all wrong. Every game he put out outstanding defense skills and locked the opponent up on defense. His performance paid off: on July 18, 2023, he was transferred to Bayern for about 55 million dollars and is showing great performances there as well.

Another example of a great South Korean player is Lee Kang-In. He is currently considered to be the most skillful player in South Korea and recently moved to PSG. His performance when he was with Valencia made this happen. During his time in Valencia, his passing skills and the ability to secure the ball was a key part of running the offense for Valencia.  

Many South Korean football players have evolved and improved in the past years. Cho Gue-Sung has shown amazing production of goals, Kim Min-Jae has shown excellent defensive skills, and Lee Kang-In has shown amazing technical skills. These players are improving at their own pace, but one day they will be in another class of their own.
