Computer games are one of the main activities for individuals in the twenty-first century. With League of Legends, Minecraft, and PUBG the past decade has been a golden age for video games, and while video games seem similar to each other, they are highly perplexing. From their point of view and objectives to the platform they are played on, they are very different from each other. While video games are often played on consoles such as Xbox or Playstation, computer games have evolved and altered over time since the 1960s, and they will continue to do so. 

At MIT, Steve Russell created "Spacewar!" in 1962, the first computer game ever designed. The development of text-based games, including "Adventure," followed in the 1970s. RPG games were ported to computers during the same decade, with "Dungeons and Dragons" becoming one of the most well-known games ever created. Additionally, board games like chess and checkers were accessible on computers and were able to compete with computers in the 1980s and 1990s. At the time, puzzle and strategy games like Tetris and SimCity were equally as popular as board games. 

There are now a large number of game developers and game development firms worldwide. Computer games of many genres-including role-playing, adventure, survival, and first-person shooter-are continually being created and distributed to consumers. Computer games have evolved to include a broad variety of distinct concepts, making them one of the main leisure pursuits for people of all ages.

In conclusion, video games on computers have grown to be a significant source of enjoyment in the twenty-first century. Computer games have developed and provided us with a variety of experiences, from vintage titles like "Spacewar" to more recent titles like "League of Legends." Computer games will continue to advance in the future thanks to our innovative ideas and new technology.
