On December 14th, Tesla released a video of Optimus Gen 2 on YouTube. Optimus Gen 2 is the second prototype of Tesla's mass-production type multipurpose humanoid. In this video, Tesla showcased the significant improvements of Optimus compared to Tesla's initial reveal of Optimus at AI Day in 2022. Unlike before, Optimus now has a more organized appearance, 30% faster walking speed, natural hand movements, and the ability to move the egg without breaking.
