Recently, because of the development of social media and online platforms, many actors and staff who filmed movies are trying to use media to advertise their movies. Before social media was not developed well, most actors appeared in TV shows or used posters to advertise it. But now, there are many strategies that actors and firms use for commercial and advertising. 

The most popular strategy that actors use for their advertising is to appear in TV shows. Actors also appear in TV shows, but in South Korea, most actors used to appear on popular YouTube channels. For instance, recently Spring of Seoul, a 1 million movie audience movie, two main actors appeared on a popular Program Director's YouTube channel and MC's YouTube channel. Because the trend has moved from TV to YouTube, actors also use this trend to advertise their movies.

Moreover, firms also use big events to release their teaser or advertise their movie. For instance, in the 2024 Super Bowl, there was one movie teaser released, it was Deadpool 3 and this strategy got positive comments from people who watched the Superbowl. Because the Superbowl is the one of biggest events held in the U.S., it can get more advertisement effects and also can create high expectations about this movie. 

Nowadays, using trends and the online market can determine the final result of a movie, therefore, many firms try to get a high position on their commercials to advertise their new movies.
