The most prestigious football tournament in Europe has finally revealed itself to the public. The Euro 2024 has now reached the tournament stage, where 16 teams are competing to reach the apex of Europe. There are a few teams that have a strong possibility of winning the tournament and this article will identify their possibilities.

Spain proved itself as one of the best teams in the Euro competition by winning three consecutive matches in Group B, the most difficult group stage which included the World Cup finalist Croatia and the reigning European champion Italy. Spain displays fluid attacking transitions, with 16-year-old Lamine Yamal emerging as a standout player. 

Germany also exhibited itself as a possible winner for the Euros. They have not been in good form since the 2022 World Cup, but recently they have been in good form and because the Euro is held in Germany, they also can receive home advantage which increases their chances of winning.

France is one of the strongest national teams in the world as they have won the 2018 World Cup and were second place in the World Cup 2022. However, they have never lived up to the expectations in the Euros, and although they possess the superstar Kylian Mbappe, they have 
tied with Poland and Netherlands making them second place in the group stage. 

The biggest letdown is England, a team full of superstars, yet they have performed horribly in this Euro, tying with countries that are regarded as being far inferior to them: Denmark and Slovenia.
