Gangnam-gu (acting head officer Ju-Yun-Joong) is hosting a K-POP festival at K-POP Square (former Piano Square).

As the first outdoor advertising space in Korea, Samseong-dong Trade Center was the first outdoor advertisement in Korea last month with COEX Crown Media, SM Town Exterior Wall Media and KPOP Square Media. The K-POP festival will be the first opportunity for the Trade Center to become a multi-cultural industrial space combining media and cultural contents. The event will be held for three days from the 20th to the 22nd.

On the 20th, musical actors Kim Sun-young, Michael Lee, Yoon Gong-Ju, Kim Woo-hyung and an Ensemble Group‘ The Muse’will hold a K-musical concert from 8pm on the 20th.
The stage will consists of popular songs such as “Mamma Mia”, for about an hour.

On the 21st, from 2:30 pm to 8:00 pm, the Martial Arts Trick King performance will be held.
Korea’s first collaboration with the King of Connexion, hosted by the Korea Tricking League, to provide visitors with a variety of attractions.

On the 22nd, the last day of the festival, from 7 pm to 9:30 pm, top class idol singers are invited, and there will be a fan signing event and a special event. Inaddition, various buskers, flea markets and food trucks will be held from 11 am for the three days.

Apart from the K-POP plaza event, high expec- tations are held as the protagonists of ‘Avengers: Infinite War’by Marvel studio (to be released on April 25) will have a red carpet event and a press conference on April 12th, at the plaza in front of the COEX gate.

In the future, K-POP Plaza will hold events such as C-Festival, June World Cup, summer and
winter festivals and winter festivals to attract tourists continuously, and also regularly open busking performances and fringe festivals to become a new cultural attraction.
