Gangnamgu(Chief Jung Sun Gyun) is beginning again with a fresh start; ‘a pleasant change, elegant Gangnam’. They are holding ‘2018 Gangnam Festival Fashion Show’ on the topic ‘fashion+culture’, on the 3rd to the 5th at Starfield Coex Mall Starfield Library at Samsung-dong.

‘Senior Fashion Show’ held on the first day is a collaboration stage of Oh Su Hee (Monte Milano) and Chun Jae Jun (C-Wear). 51 female and 13 male senior models selected in an audition will be on the runway.

Moreover, fashion shows of 9 designers chosen from July’s contest will be held over 3 to 4 days. Special Fashion Show and Emerging Designer Contest with the prize money of 300,000,000won and 25 pre-qualified teams participating will be held on the 5th. Designer showroom, fashion culture market, busking, donation events and other events are being held as well.

Hosted by Gangnamgu and organized by Gangnam Foundation for Arts and Culture, it is now the event’s 7th time to be held, representing Gangnam. The motive of the event held annually since 2012 is to expand the first national ‘fashion capital’ to a global market and to activate the industry by cultivating new designers. Starting last year, it is being held as the first ‘library fashion show’ in the country.
