How often do people care for pregnant women in complex public transportation? A small consideration is to empty the pregnant woman's seat for her. Countless people have long commented on this issue. Some say that if a pregnant woman comes, the seat should be left empty in advance.

Pregnant women began operating buses in 2012, and pink pregnant women seats, which are public transportation seats only for pregnant women, were established in 2013 due to complaints from pregnant women who went through uncomfortable and painful experience standing in a public transit. This has made pregnant women more noticeable in our society. The seat, which had only the logo of a pregnant woman on the back, was replaced with a hot pink color and a sticker attached to the floor, which marked the pregnant woman. That's because the majority of pregnant passengers are sitting in pregnant seats. It is also said that this brings in a lot of complaints.

According to the 2017 survey, 77 out of a total of 207 people will have to leave pregnant women seats empty. Thirty-four people, or 31 percent, claimed they would step aside if a pregnant woman showed up. Pregnant women are constantly appealing to the idea that they will step aside when pregnant women show up. It is said that the seats made for pregnant women are used by those who are not pregnant, and if they show up, they are not given concessions because of cases where they cannot be found or ignored.

Also, 14 weeks before pregnancy, the placenta is not fully formed, which is a higher risk of miscarriage. However, during this time of year, it is more difficult to get a seat back because there are not many ships. Pregnant women argue that they are worried about using unyielding public transportation due to heavy bodyweight and dull balance during pregnancy.

Pregnant stones are created by complaints from pregnant women, and it is the purpose of pregnant women to leave their seats at any time for comfort in complex public transportation.

임산부석 비워두기는 필수일까, 양보일까?

복잡한 대중교통 속 얼마나 많은 사람들이 임산부들을 위해 작은 배려를 할까? 작은 배려란 임산부들을 위해 임산부석을 비워 두는 것이다.
수많은 사람들은 이 문제를 갖고 오랫동안 의견을 내왔었다. 임산부가 오면 비켜주면 된다는 의견을 주장하는사람이 있는 반면 미리 비워두어야 된다는 의견들로 나뉜다.

임산부석은 기존 노약자석을 자유롭게 이용할 수 없었던 임산부들의 민원들로 인해 버스는 2012년도부터, 지하철은 2013년도부터 임산부만을 위한 핑크색 임산부석이 운영되기 시작했다. 임산부석이 운영되면서 임산부석은 점점 더 눈에 띄게 변했다. 좌석 등받이 뒤에 임산부 로고만 붙여져 있던 좌석을 핫핑크색으로 교체하고 좌석 바로 아래 바닥에도 임산부를 표시하는 스티커가 붙었다. 그러한 이유는 임산부석에 임신하지 않은 승객들이 앉아 있는 경우가 대다수여서 이다. 또한 이로 인해 민원이 많이 들어온다고 한다.

2017년도에 조사된 결과에 의하면 66% 총 207명중 77명은 임산부석을 비워두어야 된다고 주장했고, 나머지 31%인 34명은 임산부가 나타나면 비켜주면 된다고 주장했다. 임산부가 나타나면 비켜준다는 의견에 따라  임산부들은 꾸준히 호소하고 있다. 임산부들을 위해 만들어진 자리를 임신하지 않은 사람들이 이용하고 임산부가 나타나면 비켜준다고 해도 발견하지 못하거나 모른체 해버리는 경우가 있기 때문에 양보를 받지 못한다고 한다.

또한 임신 14주 전에는 태반이 온전히 형성되지 않아 유산 위험성이 높은 시기이다. 하지만 이 시기에는 배가 많이 나오지 않아 좌석을 양보받기가 더욱 어렵다고 한다. 임산부들은 임신 중에 몸이 무거워지고 균형감각이 둔해짐으로써 양보받지 못하는 대중교통을 이용하기가 걱정된다고 주장한다.

임산부석은 임산부들의 민원으로 인해 만들어진 자리고 임산부들이 복잡한 대중교통 속에서도 언제든지 편히 앉아서 이용할 수 있도록 자리를 비워두는 게 임산부석을 만든 취지다.
