No Memories. Cell damages drive to degeneration of the brain. Nowadays, many researchers are in the process of getting closer to solving the neurological disorders that are progressively unsolved. Throughout many theories, speculation, and studies, there are few common facts determined from previous researchers’ studies.

The Alzheimer’s research from several researchers gives insight to us by their accuracy and precision that the Alzheimer's research has typically focused on a few major themes: the role of the amyloid protein on neuronal loss and how this toxic protein causes injury by interacting with tau.

Science Translational Medicine recently published research, which discovers that targeting abnormal tau through the suppression of a gene named MSUT2 (mammalian suppressor of tauopathy 2) approaches to the solution of Alzheimer’s disease. They concluded that MSUT2 gene might prevent Alzheimer’ s disease such as protein PolyA Binding Protein Nuclear 1 (PABPN1) that manages tau, will not cause when human inhibits MSUT2 but not PABPN1. Tau is a protein such as amyloid protein that damages brain cells and progresses Alzheimer’s disease.

According to a team of neuroscientists led by Florida Atlantic University, it was concluded that amyloid protein mutates and had been linked to Alzheimer's disease. Also, the University of California reported that the researchers reveal recently tau-based PET brain technology due to the result that they figured out tau drives brain degeneration in Alzheimer's disease.

All in all, the researchers are in the same theme of the role of amyloid protein and relations to the tau protein, which develops the treatments or cure for Alzheimer’s disease.

Therefore, our generation has been developed far away from the first discovery of Alois Alzheimer, who reported what Alzheimer’s disease is.

기억력부터 시작해서 인지능력이 점점 떨어지고, 뇌의 신경세포가 지속적으로 손상된다. 이 퇴행성 뇌 질환 알츠하이머 병은 아직까지도 해결하지 못한 병으로, 많은 학자들이 해결방법을 찾는 중이다.
알츠하이머 병에 대한 많은 이론, 예측, 그리고 연구 결과 중에서 몇가지 공통점들이 발견되었다.
여러 학자들의 공통적 주제의 연구결과의 정확도와 정밀성으로 사람들에게 신뢰도를 준다.

그들의 연구결과는 특징적으로 신경세포의 손상에 있어 아밀로이드 단백질의 역할과, 이 독성의 단백질이 타우 단백질과 상호작용하에 생기는 손상에 초점을 두었다. Science Translational Medicine이 발표한 연구는 MSUT2 (mammalian suppressor of tauopathy 2) 라는 유전자의 억제를 통해 비정상적인 타우를 대상으로, 알츠하이머 병의 해결방법에 다가가는 연구결과를 발견하였다. 

연구원들은 MSUT2 유전자가 타우를 통제하는 PABPN1 (PolyA Binding Protein Nuclear 1) 이라는 단백질로, PABPN1단백질과 MSUT2 단백질 중 MSUT2 단백질만 억제할 수 있을 때, 알츠하이머 병을 막을 수 있다고 판단을 했다. 타우 단백질은 아밀로이드 단백질과 같이, 뇌 세포를 손상시키며 알츠하이머 병의 진행을 돕는다.
플로리다 아틀랜타 대학교의 신경학자 팀에 의하면, 아밀로이드 단백질은 변형하면서, 알츠하이머 병의 원인에 연관되어 왔다고 알려져 왔다. 게다가, 캘리포니아 대학의 연구원들은 최근 타우 기반 PET 뇌 기술을 입증하였고, 타우 단백질이 알츠하이머 병에 있어 뇌 퇴화를 촉진한다는 결과를 알아냈다.

결과적으로, 연구원들은 알츠하이머 병의 치료법을 개발하는 아밀로이드 단백질의 역할과, 그 단백질과 타우 단백질과의 관계에 대해 같은 주제를 논하고 있다. 그러므로, 우리 세대는 독일의 신경 병리학자인 알로이스 알츠하이머가 처음 알츠하이머 병을 발견했을 때 보다 훨씬 더 발전하여 이 신경 퇴행성 뇌 질환의 해결방법에 근접하였음을 알 수 있다.
