Honesty is an important element of a relationship because the relationship between people is kept by faith. Therefore, it is important to always tell the truth. However, often people think telling a lie is also necessary to keep a good relationship. This is where the phrase ‘White lie’ came from. I think any type of lies could make a problem afterward.

Firstly, lies will be discovered one day. The person who deceived will feel bad if he or she finds out the white lies that they told each other to be good.  For example, if one woman asks a friend if she looks good in a particular outfit, and then her friend tells a white lie that she looks good, she will easily be able to discover that white lie. Then they will have issues between their relationship.

Secondly, there is no difference between white lies and lies, those intentions are different, but they are still both 'lies'. Being honest could make a bad situation sometimes but it is better than lying to others because lying could also bring bad situations someday. Also, if people lie to avoid the complicated situation, they might feel bad and anxious afterward.

In conclusion, always telling the truth in any relationship will be the best. Moreover, it is necessary to think from others' perspectives.

항상 진실을 말하는 것은 가장 중요하다

사람과 사람 사이의 관계는 믿음으로 유지된다. 그러므로 항상 진실을 말하는 것이 중요하다. 하지만, 때때로 그들은 서로 좋은 관계를 유지하기 위해서 친구나 가족에게 거짓말을 할 때가있다. '하얀 거짓말'이라는 단어도 이러한 일들 때문에 생겨난 것이다. 어떤 사람들은 다른 사람들에게 선의의 거짓말을 하는 것이 괜찮다고 생각하지만, 나는 이것조차도 나중에 서로간에 문제가 생길 수 있다고 생각하고 신뢰도 또한 낮아질 거라고 생각한다.

첫번째로는, 거짓말은 언젠가 들킬 것이다. 서로에게 좋으라고 했던 선의의 거짓말조차도 거짓말이었다는 것을 알게 되면 거짓말에 속았던 사람은 기분이 나쁠 것이다. 예를 들어, 만약 한 여자가 친구에게 옷이 잘 어울리냐고 물어봤을때 옷이 잘 어울리지도 않는데 그녀의 친구가 단지 서로 좋은 관계를 유지하려고 옷이 잘 어울린다고 하얀 거짓말을 하게 되었는데 선의의 거짓말조차도 하지 않는 다른 친구들이 진실을 말해줄 수도 있다. 그렇게 된다면 선의의 거짓말을 한 친구와 그 옷을 산 사람의 관계는 끔찍해질 것이다.

두번째로는, 선의의 거짓말과 거짓말의 차이는 없다. 두개 모두 의도는 다르지만, 결과나 사실을 말하지 않음으로써 자기에게 유리한 상황이 오게 하려는 것은 똑같다. 정직해지는 것은 때때로 나쁜 상황을 만들 수 있지만 거짓말하는 것 또한 언젠가 나쁜 상황을 가져올 수도 있기 때문에 다른 사람들에게 거짓말을 하는 것보다 사실대로 말하고 신뢰도라도 쌓을 수 있는게 낫다고 본다. 또한 복잡한 상황을 피하기 위해 거짓말을 한다면 그 후로는 거짓말을 하게된 사람도 기분이 찜찜하고 불안감을 느낄 수도 있다.

결론적으로, 어떤 관계에서든 항상 진실을 말하는 것이 가장 좋은 방법이 될 것이다. 왜냐하면 대부분의 사람들은 만약 누군가가 자신에게 거짓말을 한다면, 거짓말을 하는 사람의 입장에 서서 선의의 거짓말이었는지 아니었는지 판단하기보단 분노를 먼저 느낄 것이기 때문이다.
