Covid-19 worldwide has raised people's interest in immunity. Immunity is the power to fight and defeat viruses that enter into the human body. The Vaccine of Covid-19 has not yet been developed, so people have become more interested in diet and methods that enhance their immune system. Why do people pay attention to immunity? The reason for that question is because people with high immunity can get rid of the virus by themselves or pass by without major symptoms even if they contact a virus.

So, what are some ways to improve immunity? Experts advise that people can maintain a healthy immune system if they have enough sleep, a diet with even nutrients, exercising moderately, and reducing stress.

Dr. Roger Seheult, a U.S. respiratory physician, said on the Internet that sleep improves immunity and helps create viral antibodies. "The correlation between sleep and human immunity has been proven," he said in a recent YouTube video. "Research has shown that people who slept eight hours a day for more than a week had far higher antibody production than those who did not." Sleeping well is not just rest, but a process that optimizes the body's constancy and increases immunity. Therefore, sleep has a greater impact on health than people think.

Korean food, which is a home-cooked meal that we often eat, are made of many ingredients that are good for immunity. From Kimchi, which is good for suppressing intestinal harmful microbial growth, to vegetables rich in various dietary fiber, and stir-fried spicy pork rich in high-quality protein, one meal is like a medicine. Taking supplements or vitamin supplements to strengthen immunity does not improve immunity. It is a habit of developing immunity to eat meals that usually contain balanced nutrients at regular times.

Exercising regularly and avoiding stress are also correlated with immunity. John Campbell's research team at the University of Bath in the U.K. studied the correlation between exercise and immunity shows that groups that have been continuously exercising had a higher antibody response than those that did not. Regularly, it is appropriate to do aerobic exercise for about 30 minutes to 1 hour a day and muscular exercise for 30 minutes two to three times a week. Serious stress can also disrupt immune functions and cause an inflammatory reaction to the body by hyperactive the immune system.

To increase immunity, people must manage their health with the right lifestyle. Getting enough sleep for about eight hours a day, eating balanced meals and exercising the right intensity for themselves, to get rid of stress in life and build immunity will be a shortcut to overcoming Covid-19 as well as protecting their health for the rest of their lives.
