With the upcoming presidential election in March, the presidential candidates have appeared in the Korean reality show, “Master in The House” to show their humanity outside of politics.

The three main candidates, Seokyeol Yoon, Jae-Myong Lee, and Nakyeon Lee have starred in the episodes of the show.

The latest episode of the show aired the life of Mr. Yoon, former prosecutor General, who toured his house to the hosts of the show. The hosts served each candidate as their masters, airing each episode with one candidate.

Mr. Yoon's humanitarian and personable side shone through in the show; he not only welcomed the hosts with his food but also appealed to the audience with his humor.

Cooking for the hosts allowed the audience to relate more to Mr. Yoon, as before there was much more bias towards him.

“I believe Seokyeol Yoon has grabbed his moment with this episode, with all the cooking and talking,” states one of the citizens living in Korea.

Appealing to the citizens’ hearts more than solely the economy, Mr. Yoon and the two other candidates are running hard for their next election.

대선 주자들의 호소
리얼리티 쇼에서 보여준 그들의 인간적인 면

다가오는 3월 대선과 함께, 대통령 후보들은 정치 밖에서의 모습, 그들의 인간적인 면모를 보여주기 위해 한국의 리얼리티 프로그램인 집사부일체에 출연하였다.

윤석열, 이재명, 이낙연 등 세명의 주요 후보들이 이 쇼의 에피소드에 출연했다. 진행자들은 각 후보들을 그들의 마스터들로 모셨고, 각 후보를 사부로 방영했다.

이 쇼의 최근 에피소드에서는 윤석열 전 검찰총장의 집을 찾았다. 진행자들과의 대화를 통해, 윤석열 전 사무총장의 솔직한 모습과 유쾌한 모습을 볼수 있었다.

윤석열 후보의 인간적적이고 상냥한 면모가 이 쇼에서 빛을 발했다. 그는 손수 만든 음식으로 진행자들을 환영했을 뿐만 아니라 유머로 어필했다. 쇼 진행자들은 함께 식사를 하며 윤 후보에 대한 편견을 버리고 친밀하게 대화를 나눌 수 있었다.

방송을 본 한 시민은 "이 프로그램을 보고 나서 윤 후보에 대한 좋은 인상을 갖게 되었다"고 말했다.

이와 같이 세명의 대선 후보들을 시민들에게 마음으로 어필하고 더 가까이 다가가기 위해 계속 열심히 선거운동을 하고 있다.
