Evolution is the process by which a species develops over time. Species can alter and evolve over many generations into something new. Those distinctions shift depending on the individual's DNA. Evolution is not merely a hypothesis because it has ancient evidence that has been discovered as well as new evidence that is being discovered every day.

The Oxford English Dictionary defines a scientific theory as "a description of what are thought to be the general rules, principles, or causes of something known or seen." The theory isn't just a guess about how things are. As a result, evolution is not a theory since it explains how and why things happen rather than simply asserting that they do. Second, for a theory to be labeled scientific, it must be "testable and make verifiable predictions." To put it another way, there must be observations and evidence to prove or disprove it. The theory's predictions led us to discover the condition in nature. Furthermore, the more evidence and observations that support the prediction, the more likely it is that the theory is correct. To accept a theory as fact, we need a lot of evidence, validation of predictions, and no evidence that contradicts it. When it comes to evolution, we can confidently declare that it is more than a hypothesis and is widely acknowledged as reality.

In nature, scientists have a plethora of observations and sorts of evidence that can easily prove evolution is true. The hypothesis of evolution is one of the most thoroughly tested and well-supported hypotheses we have. We haven't uncovered any evidence to contradict the hypothesis, yet it's happening right now in our neighborhood. That is why evolution is a "Fact" rather than "simply a theory."

진화는 “사실/진실” 이다

진화는 한 종이 시간이 지남에 따라 변하는 것을 의미한다. 진화의 뜻은 많은 세대를 거쳐, 한 종은 다른 것으로 변화할 수 있다는 것이다. 그 차이점들은 DNA에 따라 변한다. 진화는 이미 발견되었지만 그 증거가 계속 늘어나고 있기 때문에 단순한 이론이 아니다.

과학적으로 “이론”은 옥스퍼드 영어사전에 의해 "무엇이 알려지거나 관찰되는지에 대한 일반적인 법칙, 원리 또는 원인에 대한 진술"로 정의된다. 그 이론은 상황이 어떤지에 대한 추측 그 이상이다. 이러한 이유로 진화는 단지 일어났다고 말하는 것보다 어떻게 그리고 왜 일어났는지를 설명하기 때문에 이론이다. 둘째, 이 이론은 과학적으로 간주되기 위해서는 "검증 가능하고 검증 가능한 예측을 해야 한다". 관찰과 증거가 있어야 증명하거나 반박할 수 있다는 뜻이다. 그 이론이 내린 예측은 자연에서 상황을 찾도록 이끈다. 게다가, 우리가 예측을 뒷받침하는 더 많은 증거와 관찰을 찾을 수 있다면, 그 이론은 사실일 가능성이 커진다. 이론을 사실로 받아들이기 위해서는 엄청난 양의 증거, 예측의 확증이 필요하며 이론을 반증하는 증거는 없다. 이러한 주장이 진화에 이르게 되면, 우리는 진화가 단순한 이론 이상의 것이며 사실로 받아들여진다는 것을 진술할 수 있다.

과학자들은 자연에서 진화가 사실이라는 것을 쉽게 증명할 수 있는 수많은 관찰과 형태의 증거를 가지고 있다. 진화론은 가장 검증이 많이 된 이론 중 하나이며 우리가 가진 가장 많은 증거를 가지고 있는 이론 중 하나이다. 우리는 진화라는 이론에 반하는 증거를 찾지 못했고 그것이 지금 우리 주변에서도 일어나고 있다. 그것이 진화가 "단지 이론"이 아닌 이유이다. 따라서 진화는 "진실/사실” 이다.
