Korea is in desperate need of immigrants as fertility rates begin to decline. Many people are opting not to have children in favor of focusing their efforts on finding suitable jobs, which has resulted in a significant reduction in the birth rate. In this situation, it is difficult to decide whether the country's national identity should take precedence over its economics. As a result, the Korean government must allow immigrants to enter the country.

As previously said, many Korean citizens are now concentrating on finding decent jobs. Even though it is not visible in society right now, society is aging. This suggests that in a few decades, society will be unable to operate in the country due to a manpower shortage.

South Korea, which has grown to be one of the world's wealthiest countries, requires immigrants from third-world countries. With the influx of immigrants entering South Korea, the idea of a pure Korean identity will vanish.

As previously stated, if immigrants are accepted all at once, the rate of intermarriage will naturally rise. This means that the country's sense of national identity is rapidly fading.

As a result of its long history as a nation, South Korea has created a distinct national identity based on Confucianism. Many Koreans place a high priority on extended family and mannerism, which many outsiders are unfamiliar with. Furthermore, as Korean cultures become increasingly globalized, these conceptions are evolving.

What should we value more? 
National identity or the economy?
