The Covid-19 outbreak has already lasted more than two years, and it is producing terrible issues. The pandemic was an unexpected event, and as a result, many individuals have become destitute, socially isolated, or in a condition of great stress as a result of it.

According to the National Institute on Drug Abuse, there has been an enormous surge in drug usage and "decreased access to a substance use therapy" as a result of their current status.

There is something known as zombie street in the United States. Many people dressed as the walking dead came on Kensington Street in Philadelphia, strolling in strange stances, much like zombies in horror movies.

How did Philadelphia, one of the most populous cities in the United States, get up in this state?

The street is littered with needles. Many people are sleeping on the streets, and the stores are closed. Every day on this street feels as though it has been overrun by zombies.

People may get narcotics nearly for free on this street. The zombies on the street are all drug users. Because of the epidemic, many individuals lost their jobs and homes, which increased the number of drug users.

Even though the police patrol the area daily, the number of drug users grows at an exponential pace, and the cops cannot arrest every drug addict in the community.

Will Philadelphia be able to reclaim its past order and cleanliness? Is it feasible to do so until the pandemic is gone, or will it be impossible?

미국의 마약 문제

2년 이상 지속되고 있는 코로나19 대유행은 끔찍한 많은 문제들을 일으키고 있다. 많은 사람들이 아무도 예상하지 못한 팬데믹으로 인해 가난해지거나 사회적으로 고립되거나 극심한 스트레스 상태에 놓이게 되었다.

국립 마약 남용 연구소에 따르면, 그들의 현재 상태에 따라 마약 사용이 엄청나게 증가했고 "약물 사용 요법에 대한 접근성이 감소"했다.

미국 필라델피아에는 좀비 거리라고 불리는 곳이 있다. 필라델피아의 켄싱턴 거리에는 워킹 데드 복장을 한 많은 사람들이 공포 영화의 좀비처럼 이상한 포즈를 취하며 거리를 활보하고 있다. 

미국에서 가장 인구가 많은 도시 중 하나인 필라델피아는 왜 이렇게 되었을까? 
거리는 바늘로 가득 차 있다. 많은 사람들이 길에서 자고 있고 거리의 상점들은 문을 닫았다. 이 거리의 하루하루가 마치 좀비들에게 덮친 것 같은 느낌이다.

이 거리에서 사람들은 거의 공짜로 마약을 살 수 있다. 거리의 좀비들은 모두 마약 중독자들이다. 특히 팬데믹으로 인해 많은 사람들이 그들의 일자리와 집을 잃었고, 이것은 마약 사용자의 수를 증가시켰다.

경찰이 매일 그 지역을 순찰하는데도 마약 사용자의 수는 기하급수적인 속도로 증가하고 있고, 경찰은 지역 사회의 모든 마약 중독자를 체포할 수는 없다.

필라델피아는 과거의 질서와 청결을 되찾을 수 있을까? 팬데믹이 끝날 때까지 이것이 실현 가능한가, 아니면 불가능할 것인가?
