We are living all different lives and have all different kinds of occupations. But regardless of our age and jobs, we have the same problem while completing our tasks. We choose to “postpone” their work until they have very little time to do it. Since most people start doing their tasks when the deadline approaches, it is hard to reveal the highest quality of the work. 

Why do we postpone our work and mistreat ourselves because of time consumption? To “postpone” something means to “arrange something to take place at a time later that is first scheduled”. So, the fact is that we are not lazy people because we postpone our work. After all, the time we have until due is something that can be “arranged” by oneself. But the problem is we cannot handle it if we start to postpone each task we get. If we don’t have a sense of how much time will be consumed for each task, we will be obligated to focus on finishing it rather than creating a good quality of work. How many times do we postpone before doing something in a day? More than 95 percent of people generally do it more than 15 times per day. Therefore, we are not able to handle it and maybe forget to do it. Even though there is a high percentage of people who postpone their tasks, there is a low possibility of “not submitting” their work. This means people tend to finish before the due date but are afraid to start their work. According to some psychological research, this happens when someone is nearly a perfectionist. Since we want it to be well done and get close to excellence, it is harder to start. 

To stop postponing work and creating highly generated work, we need to control our minds to be more stable and comfortable.
