Change the Law. For the Immigrants, For the CountryLow Birth Rate in Korea, how should it be solved?
¼Õ¼À± °³²Æ÷½ºÆ® Çлý±âÀÚ | ½ÂÀÎ 2022.10.09 04:26

In South Korea, the death rate has exceeded the birth rate. Soon, South Korea will be filled with an aging population, which is not an ideal demographic for a country needing workers.
These days, having babies is not the priority for women in South Korea ? primarily, they look for jobs and prefer to stay single. Low birth rates will likely lead to a decrease in the population: there will no longer be many people left to work.

South Korea is regarded as having a strong sense of national identity. The residents are united by their distinct identities, but it is also the factor that makes us a strange faction at times. Due to Korea's modest ethnic variety, citizens?young and old?pay little attention to foreign nations.
Korean "nationalism" is obsessed "with the past [...] much too much." It is now time to move forward. Many Koreans retain memories of their Japanese colonization, which inhibits them from encountering Westerners. Korea's anti-foreignism began during Japan's imperialism, causing anguish and dread of outsiders.

As laborers, immigrants contribute to South Korea's economy. Because the immigrants are eager for money, they are willing to undertake labor that Koreans refuse to do. Korean citizens must understand that the economy is growing as a result of the physical effort performed by immigrants.

As laborers, they "further engage with all aspects of the Korean economy." They "do more arduous or riskier jobs in agriculture, manufacturing, and construction that Korean people shun." Immigrant work benefits society since it is labor that builds the foundation of the country. "Migrants keep the wheels of growth rolling." They keep the economy humming in the background.

We are currently in a period where individuals are too busy to have children. However, if we continue to live in this manner, we will soon run out of laborers in the nation. The sense of national identity will be lost with immigrants as laborers; nevertheless, wouldn't you rather have a strong country with immigrants as laborers than have the country disappear due to a shortage of labor force?
