Lots of people have a misunderstanding of diet. The number of people who diet in unhealthy ways, such as fasting, a one-food diet, and taking drugs, is steadily increasing. This can also mean that people's diets focus on weight loss rather than health. The purpose of diet should focus on one's health, not appearance. However, most people start working out for beauty purposes, leading to extreme diet plans such as fasting and the use of drugs. An excessive diet can result in weight cycling. Weight cycling, also known as yo-yo dieting, is the repeated loss and gain of weight, which is critical to our body. To avoid yo-yo dieting and to succeed in dieting, there are a few suggestions that people can follow.

First, increase metabolism. Metabolism controls energy consumption. Increased metabolism burns more calories. Therefore, it is easy to lose weight.

You have to do medium-intensity exercise to get an effect. Drink water and eat foods that increase your metabolism. Foods that increase metabolism include cinnamon, green tea, Avocado, coconut oil, and Grapefruit Garlic.

Second, eat food that gives satiety. If your weakness is that you have a great appetite and often feel hungry, try eating food that gives you satiety first. This way, people can consume low calories. Foods rich in fiber are fruit smoothies, vegetable pie, beans, Nuts (except fried or salted ones), flax, and whole grains.

Third, drink a lot of water. If you eat more fiber, you should also drink more water. Not only does it make you feel full, but it also helps you digest fiber better.

Fourth, consume healthy fat. A low-fat diet doesn't help your diet. Rather, you should eat healthy fat. However, it should be high-quality fat. Eating healthy fat will accelerate your metabolism and reduce your appetite. Foods rich in healthy fat are coconut oil, olive oil, Avocado Nuts, Seeds, egg yolk, and Butter.
