Everything remains the same but the fee has been increased to $11 for Apple users. Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter says that the fee increase is caused by high commission fees from App Store.

Twitter Blue, the membership of Twitter has several additional features. Subscribers have blue ticks beside their profile, their tweets get more likely to be promoted to more people, fewer ads come up, and they are available to post and watch longer and higher quality videos. These features were requested by many users.

However, experts argue that these benefits can spread unsure pieces of information. In one case recently, the user imposed to be a US medicine firm Eli Lily tweeted that they will provide insulin free. It caused Eli Lily's stock price to fluctuate.

To prevent this, Twitter state that accounts that had a blue tick before will still have them, also the accounts with blue ticks will have a message appearing when you press a tick: "legacy verified account" or "may or may not be notable".

Elon Musk has made numerous changes since he took over Twitter. He says that he will make changes until the firm can make some profits. He changed the rules about the members of the firm more strictly and he took almost half of the ex-members of the firm's jobs. Moreover, he says that many accounts are unbanned and will be unbanned like the former US president Donald Trump to protect the freedom of speech.
