The darkest side of anonymous netizens is related to crime, which is unfortunately mainly targeted at children. According to BBC, “A man accused of leading a group that blackmailed girls into sharing sexual videos - which were then posted in pay-to-view chatrooms - has been named after an outcry in South Korea.” (Cho Ju-bin: South Korea chatroom sex abuse suspect named after an outcry) This was a big issue that was socially criticized in Korea. People bought videos of children getting sexually abused. Still, the consumers were not caught and are living full of audacity. 

Due to the Koreaboo, “Professors, celebrities, famous athletes, and persons with great fame are included in the list of Nth Room members.” (Famous Male Celebrities and Athletes Revealed to Be Paid Members of Telegram “Nth Room”) People with high social status and tons of respect and admiration turn to sex offenders online. It is an embarrassing thing to do as a person with the proper perspective and belief in society. 

After this significant incident, they live a regular and prosperous life because they have different identities on the web and in reality. Also, fake accounts use pictures of influencers and sexual objectification to them. That person would feel frightened and worried that their family and fellows would see. There are many crimes because of concealing real identities on the web.  

In the app, Ask.fm, people can ask someone any question without revealing themselves. People ask an offensive question that can hurt others. If their real account is shown, they will not write malicious comments, and it will not damage the celebrity and the influencer. The government should consider revealing the real identities on the web, or there would be more victims.
